As MBA students at The University of Chicago, AAMBAA recognizes our collective capacity to add value to the communities in which we live and learn. Therefore, we are committed to enhancing the socio-economic conditions in Hyde Park and the larger South Side community. We aim to leverage our diverse and highly skilled human capital to engage in productive partnerships with various community development organizations to achieve this mission.

Current Partnerships

Moore Wealth was founded by Dr. Erika Moore Taylor in 2019 to empower underrepresented students in financial literacy. There is a disproportionate financial burden for underrepresented students in higher education, and our mission is to alleviate this burden by supporting minority students with scholarships and personal finance workshops. 100% of donations are directly applied to student scholarships, and our students would sincerely appreciate any support.

The team needs support reviewing Moore Wealth Scholarship applications and assistance with fundraising efforts.
